Hall of Fame Bowler, Marcel Lessard started his business career as manager of Laurel Lanes from 1996-2006. He then left to become the proprietor of Lore’s Lanes Bowling Center in New Milford from 2006-2015, returning home to Plainville when Laurel Lanes became available. With a vision of creating a unique family entertainment center, Marcel has combined the 2 most popular,classic family games; 10 pin bowling and miniature golf.
Bowling has been part of Marcel’s life for the past 37 years. His bowling ability has allowed him to travel all over the country and compete in many different bowling tournaments. In the past 10 years, Marcel was elected into the GCC/USBC Hall of Fame, CT State Hall of Fame, and Enfield Athletic Hall of Fame for his bowling ability. He has won over 40 Association and State titles and rolled over 50 perfect 300 games.
Lessard Lanes is a family business. His son Patrick is the Assistant Manager, daughter, Kelly is the Senior Ambassador & Mini Golf Host, and 5 year old son, Benjamin is the Ambassador of Fun. Along with his wife, Alison, they welcome you to Lessard Lanes.
Lessard Lanes is unique because we offer the two most popular forms of family entertainment: Bowling & Miniature Golf. Just established in June of 2016, the previously 40 lane center has received a total remodel to now include an 18 hole indoor miniature golf course, 28 ten pin bowling lanes, arcade games, snack bar, & lounge.
People ranging in age from 2-102 can enjoy both games! Our 18 hole wheelchair accessible course, customized handicap putter, bowling ramps and light weight balls make FUN accessible for EVERYONE!
